He was born February 22, 1958, in Fairfield, Iowa, a son of Richard and O. Lorraine (Winters) Moorman.
Milt started dirt track racing (No. 117) with his brother, Doug, in 1974. He was track champion in 1987 at Hawkeye Raceway with crew chief Brian at his side.
He was employed at the Davenport Community Schools as a para-educator working at Central High School and Fillmore and Garfield Elementary schools.
He married Robin Maureen Renfro on August 20, 2000, in Scott County, he had two children. He enjoyed family, camping, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors.
Milt is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Robin; daughters, Heather Eastin (35) and her husband, Travis L, and Angela Moorman (11); stepdaughter, Danielle L. Loranger (26); grandson, Matthew E.L. Moorman (16); older sister, Linda Shippey of Texas; older brother, Douglas, Davenport; younger sister, Anita Mallette and husband, Brian, Davenport; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bessie.
His parents, younger sister, Teresa J. Archibald, and a brother-in-law, Dennis Shippey, preceded him in death.
