Here is a neat poem my son wrote about him that I love:
My Brother:
Oh, how we mourned the day we learned,
our soldier named "Chick" would never return.
We struggled to find a way to cope with the pain,
the only solace we found, was in times gain.
Years have passed and it seems few can remember,
what a price those boys paid, to keep freedom a splendor.
I will not forget, because I am proud,
of the soldiers who lived under scrutiny's shroud.
This simple black bracelet is a way to heal,
the pain of those lost, and remain there still.
....Because you were a soldier, I will NOT forget.
