Mrs. Jessie S. Snyder, 76, teacher at Cleburne High School for 25 years, died at her home in Dallas Saturday afternoon.
She was the widow of the late Oliver Snyder, who was Division Supt. for the Santa Fe here for
many years.
Mrs. Snyder was born at Atchison Kans., and came to Texas as a child. She graduated from the old Saint Mary's College at Dallas and taught there four years.
She received her master of art degree from the University of Chicago while teaching here.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Lopp of Houston and Mrs. Lloyd Price of Dallas and one son, Webster Snyder of Houston..
Funeral services will be held at Saint Matthews Cathedral in Dallas Monday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Dallas.
