Mrs Louisa Cook of Galesville Buried

Galesville, Wis - Funeral services were held here Tuesday for Mrs Louisa Cook, 85, wife of the late Lester Cook. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Centerville. Mrs Cook had been a patient at Whitehall since last September. She died Sunday. ...

Mrs Cook was born in Wheeling, Ill, February 21, 1856. Her maiden name was Louisa Ball. She came to Wisconsin with her pioneer parents when she was 12 years of age and lived in this state since then. Her marriage to Lester Cook took place January 1, 1877. Mr Cook died 13 years ago.

Surviving Mrs Cook are three of her five children, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother. Children are Earl of Mindoro, Edson of Whitehall and Mrs Roy McWain of Caledonia township. Sons Harry of Los Angeles and Truman of Galesville are dead. Mrs George Merwin of Centerville is a sister and Truman Ball of St Louis, Mo, is a brother. The late Charles Bugbee was a half-brother.
