Dorothy L. Acox Kitch, Springfield, passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 8, 2000, in her home at the age of 86. Dorothy was born Sept. 7, 1913, to Lola and William Eaves. She loved gardening and sewing. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Clarence Acox; a son, Dennis Acox and his wife, Sharon; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, the Rev. Paul Kitch; a son, Jerry L. Acox and wife, Louise; a step-son, Paul A. Kitch and wife, Delma, missionaries to South Africa; three granddaughters, Shari Noe, Lisa White, and Debbie White; a grandson, Dennis Acox; five great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons.
