Mrs. Mable Jane Martin Baldwin, age 78, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (December 5, 2012) in Lebanon, Virginia. Born January 2, 1934 in Drill, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Ida Angeline Cook Martin. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Baldwin, one sister, Mary Martin, and one brother, Frank Martin.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Baldwin and son-in-law, Jerry Vance of Cedar Bluff and Brenda Vance and husband, Billy of Rosedale; one grandson, Donovan Helton and wife, Lakin of Rosedale; two great-granddaughters, McKinlee Maxfield and Bentlee Helton; one sister, Nellie "Katie" Dye and husband, David of Rowe; very close companion, Wayne Taylor; special friends, Barbara Baldwin, Rhonda and Tim Edwards.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Vonley Pruitt officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Thursday.
