Walter Edward Cox:

Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Saturday in Shannon's Chapel for W. E. Cox, 63, washateria owner and Ft. Worth resident for four years, who died at 9:10 AM Thursday, in a hospital. Reverend H. O. Bennett will
officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Cox, a native of Ellis County, lived here at 2815 McLemore.

Survivors are the widow, {Melvina May Howard Cox};

two sons:
Lloyd Carl Cox of Ft. Worth; and
W. J. Cox of Hutchinson, Kansas;

four daughters:
Mrs. Fletcher Charles Richardson, Jr. {Ruby Hazel Cox}; Mrs. Theta Merle (Cox) Ausmus, widow of Walter Laudy Ausmus;
Mrs. Pearl Marvin Houston {Florine Gwendola Cox};
Mrs. Raymond Benson {Doris Marie Cox}; all of Ft. Worth;

Also three sisters:
Mrs. James Sterling Hatchett {Jessie Mae Cox}
Mrs. Columbus Alexander Rogers {Laura Lucinda Cox}
Mrs. William Henry Dotson {Emma Cox}

two brothers:
Henry Winfield Cox
Charles Carroll Cox
eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
