Rachel Humphrey, age 100, a resident of Colorado Springs, CO and former resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on November 30, 2012.
Rachel is survived by her sister, Ruby Sánchez and her husband, Eulogio, daughter, Eleanor Wells and her husband, Phillip, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Humphrey.
Rachel was a member of the Catholic Church.
Visitation will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1869 Griegos Rd. NW on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the Rosary at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martín Cervantes, Gilbert Perea, Henry Perea, Dick Luna, Roy Luna and Casey Luna.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations to be made to Evercare Hospice, Colorado Springs, CO.
