Mrs. Harriette A. Beardsley, 76, passed away at her home, 31 North Center Street, Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Beardsley had been confined to her room the past two years from a shock. Sunday morning a second and complete shock came.
Harriette A. Bliss was born in Portageville April 9, 1860, daughter of Benjamin and Betsy Winegar Bliss.
58 years ago she was united in marriage to George A. Beardsley.
One one near relative, daughter Mrs. Bessie M. Stainton, survives.

April 1878 married George Augustus Beardsley (son of Augustus and Alphonsine Whelpley Beardsley) in Portageville. They moved to Perry about 1893. He died October 3, 1897.
