Ernest S. Katarski, 59, a Production Engineer with Harrison Manufacturing who lived in Phoenix, died July 2, 1978, at Tempe Community Hospital.
Services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale.
Mr. Katarski, who had been active in Boy Scouts of America for several years. held the Silver Beaver award for outstanding contributions to scouting. He was on the Scouts Eagle Board of Review.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche; children, Annette, Mary, Stanley and Edward; a brother and two sisters; and five grandchildren.
