She was born January 1, 1930 in Coffee County, AL.
She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Pascagoula. She was a devoted wife and mother to many - especially to her beloved Jennifer Gary Lematire (Joey).
She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel Curtis Wise and Lonnie Lee Donaldson Wise, beloved husband Carl A.Norwood and son Curtis E. Norwood.
Survivors include sons Carl A. Norwood, Jr. (Ann), Kenneth G. Norwood (Susan), daughters Mary L. Johnston (Brian), Ella M. Scarbrough (George), Anna E. Mish (Vincent); sisters Eloise Bell, Shirley Craig and Quinna Culpepper; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Farrell Rhodes, Jim Mitzel, Harron Wise, Brian Johnston, Mark Hansen and Bill Reed.
