A former Cooter resident, Mary A. Tucker, died October 3, 1975, at the Yell County Memorial Hospital, Danville, Ark. She was born May 28, 1888, in Chestnut Bluff, Tenn., and was the widow of John Tucker.

At the time of her death Mrs. Tucker was living in Ola, Ark. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 7, in the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Smith officiated.

She leaves two daughters: Ruby Robinson, Ola, and Ruth Byrd, St. Louis; one son: Cleo Tucker, Warrenton, Mo.; four sisters: Lula Ashcraft, Ola; Laura Beckham and Ella Rushing, both of Cooter; and Alma Pitts, Dyersburg, Tenn.; one brother: Gene Waters, Ola; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Paul Cooper, Jerry McClure,
J. W. Neil, Carl Hamel, Gus Cooper and Paulus Alexander.
