Hubert Alex Branam, age 83, of Dexter Kansas passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 in Kansas. He was born July 24, 1929 in Texas to Henry and Edna (Ramsey) Branam. Hubert was raised in Texas and proudly served in the U. S. Navy. He was employed as a welder, which was a profession the loved. Hubert was a loving father and grandfather

Survivors include two daughters, Reba Harth of Burden, KS and Debbie Branam of Wellington, KS; two sons, Donny Branam and Tommy Branam both of Austin, TX; two stepsons, Mike Gootee of Abilene, TX and Herbert M. Gootee of Arkansas City, KS; grandchildren, Shaw Gootee, Waylon Gootee, Code Gootee, Michael Gootee, Travis Gootee, Kylea Harth, Haylee Harth, Jonathon Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Zachary Brumback, Max Brumback, Benjamin Harth, Brittany Harth, Roy Branam, and Harold Branam; twenty great grandchildren and three sisters, Helen Drake of Midlothian, Catherine Christian of Waxahachie and Malvanee Mathews of Dawson, TX. Hubert was preceded in death by a son, Dale Branam; grandson, Kenneth Ross Branam and six siblings.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Monday, December 3, 2012 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10AM Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Mr. Walter Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Jacobs, Zach Brumback, Roy Branam, Harold Branam and Mark Gootee.
