She worked at Courtland Novelty in East Stroudsburg for 20 years as a machine operator. She was a resident of East Stroudsburg her entire lifetime.
She is survived by her son, Wallace R. Counterman of Bartonsville; three daughters: Amy Johnson of Stroudsburg, Bobbie Johnson of Bartonsville, and Beth Getz of Henryville; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert M. Counterman of Stroudsburg; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two brothers, Paul Counterman and Arthur Counterman.
