Gerald was born in Caldwell,Idaho to Jess German ,(son of Valentine German and Mary Fair),and Virginia Means,(daughter of George Means and Pearl May Gentry). Jess and Virginia were sharecroppers and they traveled to farms to find work. The family moved to Valley Park Mo. were Gerald finished his schooling.He then married Vivian Lashley and to this union four children were born,Jason,Dusty,Ben and Andy. He passed away at his house in Des Arc. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers,Dennis and Bob German,and two sisters, Karon Campise and Loretha Frisbee.He is survived by his sons,10 grandchildren ,and a string of nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends
