Beatrice was a daughter of Napoleon and Dina Cormier Bourgeois of Springhill, Nova Scotia. She came to the U.S. as a young woman. After her husband James Wilson died in 1959, she worked 10 years as a pocket maker for Uniroyal in Chicopee, Mass.
She was survived by children from her first marriage to Louis Nadeau, Richard Nadeau and Yvonne Gilroy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a sister, Agnes Tomchik.
