He was a financial news writer and manager for many years of Commercial Telegraph Bureau, a British News Agency in New York City. When this agency merged with Reuters in 1942, Mr Sinker established his own agency, American Market News Association, distributing financial and commercial news to foreign newspapers until his retirement. He resided in New York City and later, Newtown, Connecticut. For many years Mr Sinker was a member of St. Bartholomew's Church in New York City, more recently of Trinity Church, Newtown. He had been a member of the Horticulture Club, the Historical Society, and the Forest Association all in Newtown.
Surviving, besides his wife, Dorothy Kirk Sinker were a niece, Mrs Victor Saderholm of Staten Island, N.Y., and a nephew, Frederic K. Sinker of Dunedin, Fla.
