The funeral for Richard Bradley "Brad" Branch, 39, of 1910 Oak Level Road, Bassett, who died Feb. 8, 2012, at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Foley officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hermon Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends for an hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Branch was born Jan. 27, 1973, in Martinsville to Richard Lee Branch of the home and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Foley Branch. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He graduated from Bassett High School in 1991 and was a truck driver for Mabe's Trucking Co. until he became disabled.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are a sister, Lisa Branch Scott of Lynchburg, and a son, Austin Bradley Branch of King, N.C.
