She was married to Eli Hazelrigg, October 24th, 1828, and was the mother of eight children, of whom only three are now living—two sons and one daughter. She moved with her husband and four children from Bethel Ridge, Bath county, Ky., to Boone county in the fall of 1844 and in the spring of'45 settled five miles west of Lebanon, where her son William is now living.
On June the 28th, 1847, death by erysipelas robbed her of her companion. She was married to A. B. Clark in 1856. After his death she lived with her children. She made public confession of faith in Jesus Christ in youth, joined the Missionary Baptists and lived a constant Christian, showing her faith by her works, until He said, "It is enough, come up higher.
