Vienna – Russell W. Hooks, 39, of 4996 Pin Oak Drive, died of a hart attack Tuesday afternoon in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hooks was born July 26, 1946, in Kittanning, Pa., a son of Russell and Lois Brenneman Hooks, and moved here from Warren six years ago. He was a 1964 graduate of New Castle High School and a 1968 graduate of Youngstown State University where he received a degree in business administration. He was a production planner at the Dana Street Plant of Packard Electric and was a member of the Veinna Thursday Night Group. Besides his mother of New Castle, he leaves his wife, the former Robin L. Mina, whom he married March 17, 1979; a daughter, Jennifer Hooks, and a stepson, Ricky Pappa, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Patty Jo Dean of New Castle; and a grandfather, L. E. McCreary of Elizabethtown, Pa. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home, Hubbard, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
