Thelma Aikins, 93, a lifelong resident of St. Paul, Ks., died Friday, March 30, 2001 in the Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul, where she entered in September 1994.
She was born Jan. 5, 1908 at St. Paul, a daughter of Lawrence and Eva Herron Aikins. She graduated from the Ft. Scott High School, and attended business college in Parsons, Ks.
She worked as a bookkeeper at the Owens Grocery Store in St. Paul. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Paul.
Survivors include cousins Virgil Hanson, Kansas City, Ks. and Bob and Alvina Ungles, Stark.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in St. Paul with the Rev. Ralph Jarboe officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in rural Stark.
