Billy G. Abner, Sr., age 75 of Keavy Rd. in London, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph-London. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Huggins Abner; his parents, James B. Abner and Verna Felty Abner; three brothers, Chester, Melvin and Johnny Abner; and one sister, Vergie Abner. He is survived by four children, Debbie Helton of Florida; Sandra Whipper and husband Dave of Florida; Billy Abner, Jr. and wife Christina of London, Kentucky; and Anna Abner of London, Kentucky; three brothers, Pearl Abner of Sharonville, Ohio; Woody Abner of Texas; and Raleigh Abner of Ecuador. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Billy G. Abner, Sr. will be conducted on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London. The family of Billy G. Abner, Sr. will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
