Funeral services for Annie Lou Cates, 77, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home. Brother W. B. Ray officiated.
Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Cates died Sunday in the Queen City Infirmary in Tullahoma. She was a native of Moore County and a daughter of the late Ben and Mollie McAfee Sullivan.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. George Adams of Moore County and Mrs. William Preston of Lynchburg; one son, Willie B. Cates of Moore County; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Mai Tarpley of Nashville; three brothers, Bob Sullivan, Jim Sullivan, and Horace Sullivan, all of Lincoln County; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were William Preston, Jr., Wilford Cates, Glenn Moore, Ray Rogers, Orville Tankersley, and Larry Darnell.
