Gloria Ackley, 62, of Vestal, passed away peacefully on January 2nd at Lourdes Hospital.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Richard Ackley; her brother, John Traver; mother, Dorothy Traver; and father, Wilmer (Val) Traver.
She is survived by her children, John Ackley, Karyn and John Denning and Kerry and Jennifer Ackley; her grandchildren, John (Brittany) Ackley II, Kristen (Frederick) Klem, Colleen Smith, Jontelle Pennington and Rylie and Gabriella Ackley. She is also survived by her siblings, Dick and Ann Traver, Bobbi and Gordon Vernon, Raymond Traver, Lloyd and Linda Traver, Doug and Sherry Traver, Larry and Eileen Traver, Wayne and Janet Traver, John Traver, and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria was also survived by a very special friend, Nola McCoy.
A memorial service for Gloria will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal.
