Mrs. Esther Heckart

Funeral services are to be held Monday for Mrs. Esther R. Heckart, a resident of Sonoma Valley since 1955. who died Tuesday at Sonoma Valley Hospital. She was 79.

Mrs. Heckart was born in Illinois, Nebraska. She was formerly a psychiatric technician at Sonoma State Hospital. She lived in Glen Ellen.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph, of Glen Ellen, a sister, Ruth Ramsey, Idaho; and her children, Jane Williams, Vallejo; Ruth Curreri, Glen Ellen, and Joe Cox, Jr., Vallejo.

She is also survived by her stepchildren, Barbara and Carl Heckart of Utah and Texas, and Nellie Boyer, Sacramento; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Services are set for 10:30 Monday at Bates, Evans and Fehrensen. Burial will be at Mountain Cemetery.

Note: Her first husband was Joseph Cox, m. October 26, 1919, Rock Creek, Texas. He died, date unknown.
