Robert Waman Bonnett
September 10, 1942 - November 19, 2012

CUMBERLAND- Robert Waman Bonnett, 70, of Cumberland passed away on Monday November 19, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born September 10, 1942 in Weston W. Va. He was the son of the late Hugh and Laura (Bennett) Bonnett. He was also preceded in death by one sister Wanda Pugh. Mr. Bonnett was an avid racing fan. He loved to work on his race cars and any other cars. He was a self employed mechanic and salvage yard owner and operator.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years Laura Bonnett; children Charles Black, Sharon Yates, Eric Black , Jason Black, Justin Bonnett; his former wife Wanda Hoff and their children Bobby, Denise Ledford, George, and Charlie Bonnett; two sisters Linda McBee and husband Bill, and Debbie Batulan and husband Desie; one brother Richard Bonnett and wife Corina; numerous grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Avenue Cumberland on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Following the visitation, a time of fellowship will be held at the Tri- State Ministry Center in Hyndman. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Stevie Leydig of the Tri-State Ministry Center officiating. A committal service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Fairview Oddfellows Cemetery in Jane Lew, West Va.
