Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Bennett will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michelle Lynn Holsey Foundation, P. O. Box 652, Crockett, Texas 75835.
Mrs. Johnnie Mae Bennett, age 81, of Crockett, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett. She was born January 26, 1931 in Trinity, Texas. Mrs. Bennett married William Arthur Bennett on August 28, 1948. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Bennett Grocery Store for 15 years. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Crockett.
Preceded in death by husband, William Arthur Bennett; parents, John and Liddie Ratcliff; siblings, Bertha Sumrall, Ella Faye Rackley, Odell Ratcliff, Thomas Ratcliff and daughter-in-law, Debbie Bennett.
