OBITUARY
Albert Ranschaert
November 8, 1917 - July 26, 1941
Funeral rites for Albert Ranschaert, 227 North Adams Street, who was killed Saturday night when his automobile crashed into a concrete abutment near Niles MI, will take place at 10am Tuesday in the residence. Rev. Howard Crim, pastor of the Star Wesleyan Methodist Church of North Liberty, this county, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the residence until the services. Mr. Ranschaert was born in South Bend, November 8, 1917, and lived all his life here.

Albert was the son of Edward Ranschaert who was born in the Netherlands, and Alice Pauwels, also born in the Netherlands.

He was married to Emogene Ellen Howell on April 23, 1938 in St. Joseph County, Indiana.

Albert was killed just weeks following the June 07, 1941 birth of his son, who was later adopted by Emogene's second husband, Hubert Woodcox, and named Dennis A. Woodcox.
