Funeral services for Primus Anderson, 79-year old retired farmer, who died in the Gettysburg Memorial Hospital May 9 were held Wednesday. His death followed a fall in which he suffered a fractured hip.
The Rev. Charles McDowell officiated at the services held in the Methodist Church. Burial was in the Gettysburg Cemetery.
He was born May 17, 1877 at Haland, Sweden and same to the United States and settled near Shullsurg, Wis. He farmed near Shullsurg two years before moving to Potter County in 1910. He resided on the same farm until his retirement in 1945. He was married to Augusta Nelson at Hector, Minn., Feb. 5, 1908.
