Mary Gwendolyn Riney Bridges, 88, of Pilot Point, TX passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Mary was born in Pilot Point, TX on November 6, 1924 to Paul and Alma Kilpatrick Riney. She married Thomas James Bridges in October 1941 in Pilot Point, TX. She later married Ray Davis on March 25, 1965.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 7:00PM-8:00PM at Huff/Slay Chapel in Pilot Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10:00AM in Pilot Point at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her son Harold Bridges of Pilot Point, TX; three daughters, Nelda Cartlidge of Malakoff, TX, Sandie King of Gainesville, TX, and Cathy Lee of Pilot Point, TX; four brothers, Bud Riney of Pilot Point, TX, Glen Riney of Irving, TX, Ross Riney of Lucas, TX, and Sam Riney of New Jersey; four sisters, Polly Boerner of Pilot Point, TX, Alta Jo Gillen of Pilot Point, TX, Betty Cox of Collinsville, TX, and Carolyn Story of McKinney, TX; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by both of her husbands, five brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral services are under the direction of Terri Slay at Huff / Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
