PLAINVIEW (Special) - Services for C.S. Hall, 79, of Weslaco will be 2 p.m. today at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview with the Rev. A.C. Hamilton officiating.

Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery under direction of Lemons Funeral Home.

He died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, in Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

He was born Dec. 20, 1918, in Floydada. He married Laveta Thompson, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Floydada High School in 1936. He graduated from Wayland Baptist with a teaching certificate and began working for International Harvester. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. After his discharge, he moved to Plainview and worked with Jarvis Tull and Green Machinery. He moved to Littlefield in 1963. He owned and operated an excavating business after moving to Baytown in 1974. After his retirement, he moved to Weslaco.

Survivors include three daughters, Celia Bullock and Nancy Nelson, both of Plano, and Jule Burt of The Colony; one son, Steve of Baytown; and 12 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to The Billy Graham Ministries.
