Fredrich Braatz immigrated to the U.S. leaving from Bremen, Germany on the ship Weimar arriving in Baltimore, Maryland on April 22, 1891. He was accompanied by his wife, Malvina and his children, Hermann, Albert, Bertha and William. The family settled in Ohio and in 1896 Fredrich became a naturalized citizen.

Died of stomach and liver cancer.

Father: Johan Braatz.

Lived at 10809 Florian Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, at the time of his death.

Buried with their grandchildren, Earl and Lois Woronsky.
