Aletha Clara Domann, 94, Lenexa, KS, passed away November 23, 2012. She was born April 8, 1918, the daughter of Albert and Mary Domann of Winchester, KS. She was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Evans, and her brother, Bernard Domann. Survivors include five sisters, Helen Domann, Grace Curran, Kathryn Johnson, Geri Nicholas, and Darlene Domann, and her sister-in-law, Kay Domann. Aletha began her career in Washington, D.C. working for the Mediation Board in the Labor Department until her retirement. In Washington, D.C. she was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a member of their dance club. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and traveled extensively through Europe and Asia. After her retirement she moved to Lakeview Village in Lenexa, KS. She continued playing bridge, was a member of the Dinner Club at Lakeview Village and enjoyed her season subscription to the KC Symphony for many years. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, KS, Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church one hour before mass. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to either Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lakeview Village, or a charity of your choice.
