EL CAMPO - Thomas Bruce McMillian, 85, was born in Falba, Texas to Monroe McMillian and Mary Elizabeth (Jordy) McMillian.

Thomas worked for Coca-Cola Company for 41 years, He began his career at the Huntsville Bottling plant and later promoted to manager at the El Campo, Texas bottling plant. He was a member of the Lions Club in El Campo and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. He was passionately dedicated to excellence in his work and enjoyed many personal friendships and professional contacts over the years.

He loved to deer hunt with family and friends. He was always upbeat and had a calm and easy-going personality. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone. Thomas remained active throughout his life and gave 100% to all his endeavors. He will be missed by everyone who was privileged to know him and love him.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents, brothers; Monroe B. McMillian and Frank McMillian: and sister, Lillie Lee McMillian Price.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Reagan Cooksey officiating. Burial will follow at Falba Cemetery.
