Lawrence Stephen Yohnke, 69, of Jerry City, passed away at 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. He was born on December 19, 1942 to the late Stephen and Esther (Kellermaier) Yohnke in Perrysburg. He is survived by his wife Patty J. (Lee) Yohnke, whom he married on June 28, 1969. He is also survived by a daughter, Jodie (Shawn Lauber) Yohnke of Delta; a son, Alex (Monica) Yohnke of Jerry City; a brother, Jerry Yohnke of McClure and a sister, Dorotha Foor of Bowling Green and two grandchildren: Antonio and Alysianna Yohnke. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew; an infant daughter, Lisa; an infant grandson, Adrian and a sister, Kate Main. Lawrence was a 1961 graduate of Otsego High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He retired from H.J. Heinz in 2005 following 30 years of service. He was a member of the Cygnet Faith United Methodist Church and the North Baltimore American Legion #539. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore with visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
