Gravesides services for Beatrice Gartner will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Mo. Bea passed from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Roswell, in the comfort of her home. Bea was born to Samuel A. Hewitt and Dollie M. James on Oct. 15, 1925, in Medford, Wis. She was loved dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by her grandchildren, Roy H. Adair, Patrisha McDaniel, Leigh Sedillo, Duston Cline, Nathan Cline, Alan Adair, Katelen Paz, Mikel Paz, Jacob Paz and Rhonda Gurling; great-grandchildren, Roy R.J. Adair McDaniel, Hunter Adair McDaniel, Breanna Lee Adair McDaniel, Spencer Adair, Ruthie Maryann Adair, Jordan Adair, Mikel Paz, Elizabeth Paz, Lea Houston and Seth Osgood; a granddaughter-in-law, Christina Adair; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Adair. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorcas Daisy Stenback and Francis De Jarnett; four brothers, Jessie Lorrane Strickland, Rudolf Darwin Hewitt, Eugene Carl Hewitt and Samuel Aurthur Hewitt Jr.; a cousin, Geraldean Amilda Landers; a niece, Anna May Morgan; and a nephew, Clinton John Hewitt.
