Thomas G. Cook, 65, of Catlin, passed away at 6:13 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Sept. 1, 1947 in Danville to Wesley and Marjorie Thomas Cook. He married Rhonda K. Cook on Dec. 22, 1966 in Westville. She preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 2012. He was also preceded in death his mother; one son, Randall and his granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

Surviving are his father; son, Robert (Dana) Cook; daughter, Lisa Cook; sister, Mary Ann (Jim) Thomas and grandchildren, Skylar Cook, Braydon Cook, Kendra Pittman, Timothy Pittman II, Jalen Pittman, Kay Anna Pittman and Kendrick Pittman.

Thomas graduated from Catlin High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer in the Catlin area for 42 years. He was a member and past Commander of the Davis Busby Catlin American Legion Post No. 766. He was a member of the VFW and also 40/8.

Thomas G. Cook, 65, of Catlin, passed away at 6:13 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
