She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Olson and was born on the Olson Homestead, in the town of Argyle 53 years ago. On March 30th, 1898, she was married to Simon C. Hanson, and with the exception of three years spent their married life in Lamont. Four children were born to them, the oldest son, Hiram, passing away in 1918. Those living are Philo, Agnes and Tilden. The husband also survives her.
She was educated in her home district school and was confirmed in the Yellowstone Lutheran Church in 1883. Annie is the first of the Olsen children, five sisters and three brothers, to break the family ties. Those remaining are Oliver and Edward of Lamont, Martha, Clara, Plety and Elmer of Argyle, and Tilly of the town of Blanchard.
She served her God faithfully and served him to the end.
The funeral was held at the Apple Grove Lutheran church on Tuesday, Rev. J. Lawrence conducting the services.
