Margaret E. Adair, 80, 1655 Trindle Rd., Carlisle died Friday at Carlisle Hospital.
Born April 22, 1904 in Jackson Township, Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Margaret Ann Hamilton Gutshall.
She was the widow of Oscar S. Adair.
She was a retired employee of Reeves-Hoffman, a member of the American Association of Retired Person, a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and of the Women of the Church.
Surviving is a daughter, S. Ruth Adair with whom she lived and several nieces and nephews. She was proceded (sic) in death by a sister, Edna Johnson and a brother, Eugene E. Gutshall.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Evangelical Church, 100 East High Street, Carlisle with Rev. William C. Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Blain Cemetery in Perry County.
Friends may call at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Monday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service.
