Mary Jane Leake (b. September 1, 1899) was also a registered nurse, who later took up writing and art. She has had two books published, one a text on nursing for which she did the illustrations. She now lives at Edmonds, Washington.

Notes: She added an e to the spelling of her last name to match its historical spelling. She served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Later in life, she moved to Kalispell, Montana to be near her sister, Sarah Elizabeth Leak.
