Peter Wolf, Dies at Home
A 93-year-old native of Waukesha county, William Peter Wolf of 1008 Madison st., died Sunday. Wolf was born in the town of Brookfield Oct. 16, 1860, and lived in the county all his life. A retired carpenter-contractor, he was a charter member of the carpenters union. He was also an ex-volunteer fireman in Waukesha. This March he and his wife would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. Survivors include his wife, Emma; a son, Albert, of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Peter Diedrich,Chicago, and Mrs. Carl Verbugt, Waukesha; one sister, Mrs. Lena Rechinske, Milwaukee; seven grandchildren, nine great-grand children, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Erling Larsen funeral home, the Rev. Ralph Ley officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Home cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm, Monday.
