Elizabeth Jane Sachse Fought went home to be with the LORD on November 17, 2012. She was 86 years old and a resident of Fremont, California. She resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Mario Delgado and family for the last 14 happy years.
Betty was born in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to California following WWII with her husband William Grant Fought who preceded her in death.
Bill and Betty lived in Redwood City and she is survived by their children--Kathleen, Susan, and Virginia. Betty is survived also by grandchildren--Michael, Mark, Amy, Melissa, Nicholas, Rebecca, Noah, Eli, Matthew, Emily and Sarah. She is also survived by her great grandchildren--Noah, Grayson, Jacob, Ethan, Alicia, Melanie, Faith, Madeline, Nicholas, Charlotte, Elijah, Cristian, Caden and Chloe. She is also survived by Jonathan her great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, from 1-5pm with a Vigil at 4pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 26, 10am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 3500 Middlefield Rd., Menlo Park, CA 94025. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Menlo Park, CA.
