Former Resident Dies At Lincoln
Mrs. Mary Hainline Rankin, for many years a resident of this city passed away at a Lincoln hospital Saturday evening, death resulting from diabetes and other complications. She was 71 years of age and about a month ago went to Lincoln to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Claude Hainline. She is survived by her husband, Homer Rankin, one son Walter Hainline, now in Salt Lake City, Utah, two daughters, Mrs. Josie White, of North Platte, and Mrs. Claude Hainline, of Lincoln; one brother, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The remains were brought to this city Monday and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the O'Loughlin-Livingston chapel, Rev. T. P. Bennett, of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in the Grand Island cemetery.
