The many friends of the family in Terry were shocked Tuesday to learn of the death of Mrs. Christina Clark, wife of Jesse D. Clark, who has a ranch on Cherry creek about 1 miles northwest of Terry.
Mrs. Clark was taken ill a few days before with a severe headache, the pain seeming to leave her Monday night. About midnight she was suddenly taken much worse and a runner was sent to Terry for a physician, who upon arrival found that she was suffering from a blood clot on the lungs, dying about 8 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Clark was Miss Christina Anderson and was married near Beach, N.D., about six years ago, moving a year or two later to Montana with her husband who had taken up a claim on Cherry creek, being at the time of her death 32 years of age.
She was noted for her hospitality by all in that section of the country, her popularity being attested by the many expressions of sorrow over her death.
Besides her husband she leaves two little children, aged about four and one-half years, who have deepest sympathy of all our people.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Terry Thursday, after which the body was laid to rest in Terry cemetery.
