Armstrong – Services for Gladys Fern Eastman, 68, Armstrong, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong with the Rev. Don Sarff officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. She died Friday, Dec. 7, 1984 at the Fairmont Community Hospital.

Friends may call between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Monday at Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Armstrong.

Eastman was born July 14, 1916 the daughter of Clem and Florence (Gochanour) Dotson in Story County. She graduated from Seneca High School and on Aug. 22, 1942 she was united in marriage with Emme Eastman at Fairmont, Minn. The couple had lived in the Armstrong area since 1929. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Rebekka Lodge.

Survivors include her husband Emmet, Armstrong; one sister, Mrs. Harvey (Noradel) Larsen, Swea City; three brothers Vernon Dotson, Des Moines, Merlin Dotson, Humbolt, Darrel Dotson, Rock Island, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
