Mrs. Pearl May Wells, 89, formerly of 202 Avondale Ave., Champaign, died at 8:05 am Thursday (Dec 30, 1976) at the Haven Convalescent Center, Springfield.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 pm Friday at Heath and Sons Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at the Mt. hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Raphael Miller Jr, officiating.
Mrs. Wells was born Oct 7, 1887 at Bloomington, a daughter of Rudolph and Mary Schoenhut Hacker. She married Thomas W. Wells, April 30, 1908 in Springfield, who died Jan 8, 1944.
Survivors include a son, Thomas W. III of Polson, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs Gerald (June) Rector Sooter of Moses Lake, Wash. and Mrs. Walter (Juanita) Reeve of Springfield; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was precede in death by five brothers and sisters and two grandsons.
She had lived in Champaign since 1918.
