Eleanor A. Mauck 78, of Harrisburg, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, peacefully at home, with her family by her side, following a 20 year battle with breast cancer.

Mrs. Mauck was born in Hershey and was the daughter of the late Earle Harrison and Eleanor (Boteler) Markley. She was a former Associate Editor with the Cowles Enthusiasts Media, publishers. She was an active member of the Colonial Park United Church of Christ and the Central Pennsylvania Doll Club and was an accomplished pianist.

Mrs. Mauck was predeceased by her Sister, Margaret Morgan and her Brother, Robert Markley.

Mrs. Mauck is survived by her Husband of 57 years, Richard R. Mauck; three Sons, Richard R. (Linda) Mauck, Jr. and Jeffrey Mauck, both of Harrisburg and Wade (Kara) Mauck of Columbia; Gram E's eight Grandchildren, Lindsay, Richard, Joseph, Jacob, Megan, Hugh, Olivia and John.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 11 A.M., at Colonial Park United Church of Christ, 5000 Devonsire Road, Harrisburg. The Rev. Dr. Bonita Zobeck will officiate. Burial will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 3 P.M., at the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 10 to 11 A.M., at the church, prior to the service.
