A son of the late Capt. E. W. and Louisa Law Cannon, he was born in Hartsville and was a 1901 graduate of Clemson University. A retired salesman with Anderson Wholesale Co. Mr. Cannon was formerly employed with Bell Telephone Co. for several years.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hord Stubblefield of Greenwood; two brothers, Marion Cannon of Louisiana and James Ervin Cannon of Hartsville.
Funeral services for Mr. Cannon will be at 3 p.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Carl May.
