Could someone explain his line of descent? My old notes suggest he was a son of Wm Stanley Ranson m. May Stevenson, so I am missing puzzle pieces if he is surnamed Stevenson. Or perhaps Ranson is the surname? A Mr Brooke Stevenson/Ranson seems to be a son of Stanley's. Issue still living (c2008) is to descend from this branch.
