Dixon Crain moved from GA to TN to MS. He was enumerated in Tippah County, MS, in 1840 and died there in 1851.

Dixon Crain witnessed a deed on 18 Apr., 1818, in White County, TN--he would have had to have been at least 18 by then. In 1822 with his brother Bethel and father, Dickson was ordered to work on a road in to Crain Hill in White County, TN. Dixon died enroute to AR.

Dixon married Nancy Hambrick on 24 Aug 1826 in Newton County, GA.
